Is mediocre Ethiopian food in DC better than good Ethiopian food in LA? I doubt it. Is good BBQ outside the south not as good as any roadside stand in Missouri? I don't know, but it might be. Still, there are lots of foods that are more traditional than good. Corn grits in the south. Chicago-style hot dogs.
We have a good south Indian restaurant to take you to, by the way. Well, you can tell us if it's good, but we like it.
